in Public

Purpose: prohibiting students from harassing or intimidating another
student
based on race, color, religion, ancestry, national origin, gender,
sexual
orientation, mental, physical or sensory disability, or any other
distinguishing characteristic; requiring specified individuals
to report
incidents under specified circumstances; authorizing a county
board of
education to establish a harassment and intimidation prevention
program for
specified individuals; requiring a county board of education to
incorporate
specified policies in its training program; etc. Last Action:
First Reading.

Feb. 19th at 1:00 PM. The General Assembly only meets for 90 days
each year.
Time is short and actions will happen fast. If you want to support
the effort
to expand hate crimes prohibitions to include our communities,
now is the

and receive
assistance with drafting your testimony and direct support on
the day of the

2. Care about creating a safe and supportive learning environment
